Biography

I love being a Realtor because it allows me to meet and work with the greatest people!  I enjoy helping them find just the right home, or assisting them in realizing the sale of their home as they move to another place or time in their lives.

 

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising from the University of Oregon (go Ducks!)   This comes in quite handy, as the proper marketing of properties is extremely important, especially in this challenging market. I know how to market!

 

I also have a Masters Degree in Counseling/School Psychology.  I worked as a school psychologist when by children were young. (They didn’t see the crazy hours that a Realtor works until they were older!)

 

My counseling and psychology background are extremely helpful when negotiating with people that are making such important life decisions. Buying and selling a home can be stressful…my background, education, experience and communication skills make it less so.

I constantly read and study the real estate market and I am out talking to area residents and fellow Realtors everyday to keep my pulse always on the market. While we often hear national real estate statistics quoted on the news, real estate is really a LOCAL business.  I make it MY BUSINESS to know that market!

I believe that listening and communicating effectively are paramount to a successful real estate transaction.

My goal is to not only satisfy my client’s real estate needs but also to make it a pleasant and positive experience.
